Five Epic Songs

I’ve been listening to a lot of instrumental songs lately, and I have so many favorites, it is hard to decide which ones I like best. However, there are times where I’m in the mood for certain songs, and I just listen to them over and over (then I’ll switch to a different song and listen to that one over and over). So, here are five instrumental songs that I have been listening to a lot lately.

1. Requiem of the Night by Audiomachine. It is so epic I can’t even explain it. I feel like I want to save the world or something. I never do that though, because I need to finish the epic song before I can save the world.

2. Kagome and Inuyasha from the Inuyasha soundtrack. It is so pretty and if you have seen the show it is even more so. I listened to it the other day and started tearing up for no reason (I haven’t even finished the show yet. Shows you that I will be crying hard when it ends). It is just beautiful.

3. London Calling from the Star Trek Into Darkness soundtrack. I love the piano in this song and the with the scene it is so amazing. I’m not good on the piano, but I am learning to play this song, because it is so cool (it is coming along. I’m kind of getting it). If you like this song, go see the movie, because it was awesome! Trust me, I’m not a Trekkie, but I loved this movie.

4. Siren’s Call by Epic Score. I love the female voice in this song (yes, I sing along with her during the song). It is just beautiful.

5. Blood and Glory by Audiomachine (I really like Audiomachine guys). I always want this song to be longer when I listen to it. I skipped over this song when we first got it, but once I listened to it, it was one of my favorites.

So there, five epic songs to go listen to right now. These are just a few of my favorites, they are not my top five. These songs are the ones I have been listening to the most lately, but it will probably change in a few days. Go listen to them now!

Bye for now! 🙂

How I Love to Smile

I’m in such a happy mood today, I decided to post about things that make me smile. I just love to smile, don’t you? Smiling’s my favorite (name that quote!).

So now….ten things that make me smile!

1. Remembering all the stupid, awesome, funny memories I had with my friends.

2. Listening to music.

3. When my little brother is smiling too, or doing something funny (he is adorable when he’s happy. When he’s mad….not so much).

4. Food. I love food.

5. Warm sunny days (so, summer).

6. My family. Especially when we go on vacation, because we are all in a good mood.

7. Being by myself outside, doing whatever I do. Fishing, reading, writing, singing at the top of my lungs, thinking, or walking around aimlessly. So much fun.

8. When I do something funny (not that it is funny to other people).

9. When people laugh (not the mean laugh. The happy laugh, if that makes sense…).

10. Doing stuff with my friends (no, this is not the same as the first one. Those were memories).

I have a lot more, but I can’t list everything that makes me smile, because that would be one loooonnnng post. I’m smiling just thinking of all the things that make me smile! If you would like to list ten things that make you smile, feel free to tell them to me in the comments, or go post them on your own blog.

Have a smiley day (does that make sense? Whatever. It makes me smile)!!!!!!!! 🙂 🙂 Gotta add some smiley faces. It’s a post about smiling. Of course you have to add smiley faces.

Anyways….

I want you to smile at least once today! BYE (I mean, come on. You can smile once.)!

Another award! Hooray!

I was not nominated for an award, but I decided to join in on this…interesting award thing. Anyone who wants to do it can do it. I found out about it through Andrea’s blog (which is awesome by the way. You should check it out). I have no idea what it is called, and it doesn’t have a picture! Yay! I am using the questions Andrea wrote up.

1. What is your most prized possession? That’s tough. My flute maybe…or my flash drive, since it holds all of my books and pictures. Or my drawing stuff, or the computer (which is the family’s computer, so it isn’t really my possession). I don’t have a  lot of prized possessions.

2. Which genre of music is your favorite to listen to? Another tough one. I like to listen to soundtracks, country, rock, instrumental…yeah that is pretty much what I listen to.

3. Who is your least favorite character in a book/movie/what have you? My least favorite character…the first character that pops into my mind is Jet from Avatar: The Last Airbender x-(. He is really annoying. I also loathe Uther from the tv show Merlin. I know there are a lot of other characters I don’t like, but those two are the only ones that are coming to mind right now.

4. Coffee or cappuccino? Coffee. I love coffee! 😀

5. What’s your favorite accent to listen to? British or Australian accents. I looove those accents!

6. What’s your favorite movie adaptation of a book? That would probably be the Hunger Games or the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

7. Google or Yahoo? Google I guess.

8. Who is your book/movie/TV show character crush? You expect me to name one? Wow…okay, a couple from books. Valek from Poison Study, Will and Horace from Ranger’s Apprentice, Percy from Percy Jackson and the Olympians, and a bunch of others. I won’t name movie crushes, because there is an extremely long list. Sorry.

9. What is your opinion of horror movies? I find them stupid, but that is only my opinion.

10. What is your favorite quote?  “This mortal form is growing weak, I need sustenance.”  If you don’t know what that it from, it is from the movie Thor.  I probably got a few words wrong in that quote, but it is pretty much on the same lines. 😛

Okay, I am doing what everyone else has been doing. If you want to receive this award, I nominate you. You are all nominated, now go out and post this award on your blog!

Now I will write some questions. Drum roll please! Kidding.

1. What is your favorite thing to do over the summer?

2. What is your favorite sport?

3. Dark chocolate, milk chocolate, or white chocolate?

4. Do you like writing or reading better?

5. If  you meet one author, who would it be?

6. Dog, cat, or dragon?

7. What is your favorite instrument?

8. What is your pet peeve?

9. Who is your favorite book/tv show/movie villan?

10. If you could go anywhere, where would it be?

Have fun!

What would happen if your characters hosted a Christmas party?

A few days ago I was thinking about what would happen if my characters had a Christmas Party. I can tell you that it would be a very interesting party. Allow me to give you a basic outline on how it would look.

You may be wondering who in the world would host it. I could see my character Jamie wanting to host a party. She loves parties and I could see her going all out. She would probably get some people to help her bake and decorate. Who would help her, I don’t know. Even if she didn’t have help, Jamie would have gotten everything done. That’s just Jamie.

I’m pretty sure all my characters would show up, but they would probably change the decorations up. Especially my fantasy characters, who have an interest in fighting. I could just see the decorations. Knives on the tree, arrows in the wreaths, and I wouldn’t be surprised if someone added a little poison to the goodies. On the coat rack would be swords, bows and quivers instead of jackets. The games would be contests to see who could shoot or fight better. I’m sure the chairs and table would end up broken, and all the ornaments shattered. I wouldn’t even be surprised if they trashed the couches.

Would they bring presents? Oh yes, they would. Putting fantasy characters together with characters from earth wouldn’t really work. All the fantasy characters would get weapons for everyone, and the characters from earth would get the fantasy characters gift cards or something. If you’re going to have a party with characters from two different worlds (or more), make sure the characters know what to get each other. There was probably a lot of trading presents.

The music would be interesting too. I don’t think they would even play Christmas music. Some people would want rock, some would want pop, others country. It would be a nightmare. If you have a party with characters, don’t play music. If there are characters from a fantasy world, they might think the radio is an alien or something. It would just be best to keep the radio off.

After the party, the house would be a mess. Don’t make a fire, or I could see the Christmas tree being burned. Glasses and plates would be broken, and many ornaments. There would be weapons all over the place and you might not want to eat the treats. If I had one word to descibe the party, it would be the word destructive. My advice to you, don’t let your characters have a Christmas party.

What if your characters hosted a Christmas party? How would it turn out?
